What’s a Raspberry Pi?
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. We want to see it being used by kids all over the world to learn programming.
What are the size & weight of the Raspberry Pi?
The Raspberry Pi measures 85.60mm x 53.98mm x 17mm, with a little overlap for the SD card and connectors which project over the edges. It weighs 45g.Where can I buy Raspberry Pi?
The Raspberry Pi(Raspi) will only be available to purchase through Premier Farnell/Element 14 and RS Components.

What operating system (OS) does it use?
Basically all Linux distribution that work on ARMv6 architecture will work on RasPi but Raspberry Pi Foundation highly recommended Fedora as default operating system.
Does it have an official programming language?
No. However the foundation will support Phython as primary educational language.
Will it run Windows or Mac software?
No.
